Elena and Jean's Reception, May 10th, 2003

In The Gallery room of the Manchester Grand Hyatt, on the San Diego Marina.
I arrived early with Riana and Giovanna to help set up. I ran around the rest of the time taking photos for Elena. This is the last I saw of the food.
I made Gio hold this pose for like, 30 seconds.
Riana's dress was awesome. "Diaphanous" would be the word for it.
The guest book was out for more "words of wisdom". Rita got there before the rush.
It was a gorgeous day!
Elena's hair reminds me of "Dangerous Liasons". Everyone thought she looked gorgeous.
Yes yes yes, rub in the fact that I'm too busy to eat.
You too.
Riana's bodyguards were making life very difficult for me. Every time I came near her they lifted me up and shook me down for bubblegum money.
Finally, I gave them my Mentos. The Freshmaker made it all better.
I still hardly recognize Hal without the ponytail and mustache.
Baby Gap Cody.
Thankfully Lisa was able to come down with Chris for the party.
It's EvilJean from Dimension Nine!!!
I'm just jealous because he looks better than I do in a suit.
Michelle's daughter is ultra-cute.
I didn't even ask her to pose for this!
The requisite self-portrait. Thanks Babs!
The Lomelis were there, although I don't have a picture of Barbara, Pascual, Lorena, Jeremy, Maya, Dave and the kids for some dumb reason.
The Asian contingent. Fred and Holly are doing well. (Hmm... I think I need to tweak the quality settings on my image resize tool...)
Dapper Jean, wearing his OWN suit today.
Some may disagree with my artistic eye.
Hey, I'm the one with the camera and the web page, so tough shit.
You don't like it, YOU do it!
This one could've been so great.
I'm standing on my tip toes to obtain the Midget Mom effect.
Rook rike Chinaman!
"...and never underestimate the effectiveness of a well-placed back-hand across the jaw. It says so much more than words! It won't take her long to figure out that when you move the ring to the right hand, it's shut up, look down, and clean those damned dishes time!"
"He's gonna hit her, daddy!?"
"Nah, I've got my wimmins to protect me, don't worry!"
